The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team has received the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award for the 2018-19 academic year, organization officials announced this week.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Jess Mannella, the Hawks had a stellar 2018-19 campaign as they posted the second-most wins in program history (14), and finished the year with a 3.47 cumulative grade point average.

Saint Joseph's is one of 992 collegiate teams to be recognized by the United Soccer Coaches for posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
