PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph’s men’s lacrosse head coach Taylor Wray has announced the incoming Class of 2023, which features 17 freshmen from six states. With the departure of just three seniors from last year's squad, this incoming group comprised of five attackmen, six midfielders, three close defensemen, a face-off specialist, a long stick midfielder, and a goalkeeper will look to make an immediate impact for the Crimson and Gray.

New to Hawk Hill are attackmen Matt Bohmer, Jake Engelke, Ryan Kemp, Mac McLaughlin, and Max Whittier, midfielders Christopher Crapanzano, Justin Douenias, Ryan Overbay, Colin Reich, Shawn Wolf, and Brett Zabransky, close defensemen Patrick Clemens, Alex Keener, and James Peters, face-off specialist Michael Carere, long stick midfielder Sal Pascarella, and goalkeeper Robbie Seeley.

"This is as deep and talented a class as we have ever recruited to Hawk Hill," said Wray. "More importantly, they are high achievers in the classroom, high-character young men, and highly-competitive athletes. I'm thrilled to welcome this group and their families to Saint Joseph's University, and I look forward to watching them make their mark on the program and the SJU community."
