Charlie Brown, Jr. has been named the Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week for February 11 and for the third time this season.
The redshirt sophomore averaged 23.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in the Hawks' 1-1 week, while converting 56.3 percent (18-for-32) from the field and 44.4 percent (4-of-9) from three-point range.
Brown scored a game-high 28 points in the 91-61 win over Saint Louis, converting his first nine field goal attempts and shooting 10-for-13 in the game. Earlier in the week, he tallied 19 points at La Salle, to go along with four rebounds and five assists.
The Hawks are looking for their second win in a row when they host St. Bonaventure on Tuesday, February 12 at 6:30 p.m. The contest will be televised nationally by the CBS Sports Network.
