Saint Joseph's guard Lamarr Kimble has been named the Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week for December 10 as the redshirt junior was the team's leading scorer in both games last week. It is the first A-10 Player of the Week honor of his career, sharing the award with Luwane Pipkins of Massachusetts. It is the first A-10 Player of the Week honor of Kimble's career.

Kimble averaged 22.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists as the Hawks went 1-1. He scored all 22 of his team-high 22 points in the second half, while shooting 8-for-12 from the field, as SJU pulled away for the 92-82 win at Princeton last Wednesday. Kimble also had five rebounds, four assists and two steals in the win.

The guard also led the Hawks in scoring with 22 points in a 70-58 loss at #21 Villanova on Saturday, marking the fourth game this year that he's scored 20-plus points. Kimble added five rebounds, four assists and a season-high three steals.

Kimble is averaging a career-best 18.4 points per game this season for Saint Joseph's (5-5). The Hawks are in the midst of a break for final exams and will return to action on December 22 when they host Loyola Chicago at The Palestra.
