All 31 Saint Joseph’s men’s basketball regular-season games will be broadcast on radio, with Talk Radio 1210 WPHT airing the majority of games. It marks the second consecutive year of a partnership with the station.

The Saint Joseph's Sports Network team of Matt Martucci and Lunardi will return for their 10th season together, with Lunardi marking his 29th year as the Hawks' color analyst. Also calling play-by-play on selected games for the second straight year is Pat McCarthy.


The season begins on Friday, November 9, when the Hawks host Old Dominion at Hagan Arena at 7:30 p.m., with the game being aired on WTEL 610 AM.

Nine of the next 11 games will air on 1210, with the exception of the December 1st game against Temple, which will be heard on WNTP 990 AM, and the December 5th game at Princeton, with the station to be announced.

Beginning with the December 8 game at Villanova, all but three contests for the remainder of the year will be aired on 1210 AM. The only exceptions will be January 6 vs. George Washington on 560 AM, January 9 at St. Bonaventure on 990 AM and February 2 vs. Massachusetts on 560 AM.

In addition, coach Phil Martelli’s “HawkTalk” radio show will air live on Monday nights from 7 to 8 p.m. via audio streaming on, with a podcast on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT. The show will again take place at J.D. McGillicuddy’s in Havertown, Pa.
