For the second consecutive week, Saint Joseph's women's soccer team has been ranked sixth in the United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll, organization officials announced on Tuesday.

Saint Joseph's is coming off a pair of wins last week as the Hawks topped George Washington, 3-1, on Thursday and blanked Rhode Island, 5-0, on Sunday.

The Hawks are making their ninth straight regional poll appearance and are one of four Atlantic 10 teams to earn regional recognition this week as they join Saint Louis (fourth), VCU (seventh) and George Mason (10th) .

Saint Joseph's (11-4-2, 6-2-0 A-10) continues conference play this Thursday at Fordham at 7 p.m.
