The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team has been ranked sixth in the United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll, organization officials announced on Tuesday.

Saint Joseph's is coming off a pair of wins last week as the Hawks topped George Mason, 4-1, on Thursday and followed with a 2-0 win over VCU on Sunday.

The Hawks are making their eighth consecutive regional poll appearance and are one of three Atlantic 10 teams to earn regional recognition this week as they join Saint Louis (fourth) and VCU (eighth) .

Saint Joseph's (9-4-2, 4-2-0 A-10) continues conference play this Thursday vs. George Washington at 7 p.m.
