This offseason, the Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse program will individually introduce its 12 newest Hawks. With the departure of 10 letterwinners, including five starters, from last year’s team, this incoming group comprised of four attackers, six midfielders, one combo midfielder/attacker, and a goalkeeper will add to a Hawks squad that is coming off of a 12-win season, which was capped by a run at the 2018 Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament, and will play under the direction of fifth-year head coach, Alex Kahoe.

#40 • Samantha Tush • M • 5-8 • Springfield, N.J., Mount Saint Mary Academy • Social Science
As a four-time Skyland Conference Valley Division First Team selection, including three First Team nods, she led her squad to a four-year record of 64-17 en route to four consecutive division titles. The team went a combined 37-7 during her junior and senior seasons. The two-year team captain totaled 224 career points (128g, 96a) and 308 ground balls over four-year career and added 71 draws won as a senior.  The four-year varsity letterwinner earned the team’s 2017 Coach’s Award and won the 2016-17 Grind Lacrosse Tournament title. The Springfield, N.J. native played for T3 North Black Elite Lacrosse Club and coached with Sum It Up Lacrosse. Tush, a dual sport athlete, also earned two letters in basketball at Mount Saint Mary Academy.
