Throughout the week, the Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse program will introduce its Class of 2022. Under the direction of eighth-year head coach Taylor Wray, these Hawks will join a group of 20 returning letterwinners that reached the Northeast Conference title game in 2018. Freshman midfielder Zach Mantei, freshman defenseman Brandon Meyreles, freshman midfielder Choice Mostellar, and freshman defenseman Jonathan Oronzio continue the introductions.

#25 Zach Mantei • M • 5-11 • 170 • Calgary, Alberta • West Island College
Mantei, an incoming midfielder out of Calgary, Alberta, led West Island College to a four-year record of 55-13, including a 19-win season as a junior. Mantei played in the Hockey City Championships as a freshman and was also involved with the Okotoks Raiders Jr A Lacrosse Club.

#15 Brandon Meyreles • D • 5-9 • 170 • Yorktown Heights, N.Y. • Yorktown
Meyreles, an incoming defenseman out of Yorktown Heights, New York, led Yorktown to the section finals as a senior and a pair of state finals as a sophomore and junior; his team had 48 combined wins over those three seasons. Meyreles was also a state finalist for football. Lacrosse runs in the family as his older brother, Eric, was a USILA All-American Honorable Mention and 2018 national champion at Division III Wesleyan University.

#5 Choice Mostellar • M • 5-8 • 160 • Roswell, Ga. • Lassiter
Mostellar, an incoming midfielder out of Roswell, Georgia, was a two-time All-State Third Team attackman (2016, 2018) and three-time All-County attackman, earning back-to-back First Team honors as a junior and senior and Third Team honors as a sophomore. Lassiter's 2016 Offensive Player of the Year led his squad to the 2017 6A/7A state title and a pair of state finals over three years on varsity; Mostellar played JV as a freshman and led the team in points and goals en route to an 11-0-1 team record. Mostellar played in the Under Armour Underclass Tournament for the South and was a two-time Nike Blue Chip Lacrosse Camp selection. He also lettered in football at Lassiter. Lacrosse runs in the family as both brothers also play, Ben at Kennesaw State University and Murphy as Lassiter High School.

#36 Jonathan Oronzio • D • 5-10 • 186 • Bedford, N.Y. • Iona Prep
Oronzio, an incoming defenseman out of Bedford, New York, was a two-time All-Catholic High School Athletic Association Team selection at Iona Prep from 2017-18, where he led the squad in caused turnovers (47) as a junior. Oronzio played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Byram Hills from 2015-16, earning All-League and All-Section honors twice each. A five-year varsity letterwinner in lacrosse, Oronzio also earned four letters in varsity football over his high school career.

“I chose to attend Saint Joseph's University because of the academic, social and athletic opportunities, as well as continuing my education at a Christian University.”
