Throughout the week, the Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse program will introduce its Class of 2022. Under the direction of eighth-year head coach Taylor Wray, these Hawks will join a group of 20 returning letterwinners that reached the Northeast Conference title game in 2018. Freshman attackmen Andrew Derasmo and Ryan Doran, freshman defenseman Robert LoBello, and freshman goalkeeper Dillon Lojeski continue the introductions.

#27 Andrew Derasmo • A • 6-1 • 195 • Centerport, N.Y. • Harborfields
Derasmo, an incoming attackman out of Centerport, New York, led Harborfields High School to the 2018 county title and a pair of playoff appearances along with a four-year team record of 49-21.

#2 Ryan Doran • A • 5-11 • 175 • Melville, N.Y. • Half Hollow Hills East
Doran, an incoming attackman out of Melville, New York, was a 2017 All-Division and All-League selection as a junior at Half Hollow Hills East. Doran missed his sophomore and senior seasons due to injury but his squad went 51-21 over four years, which included a 14-5 record during his junior season in which he played. Doran also lettered in basketball and soccer and was a recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award and Distinguished Athlete Award. Lacrosse runs in the family as his older brother, Justin, was a Division I attackman and midfielder at Ohio State University from 2003-06 and older sister, Nichole, was a Division I attacker at Stony Brook University from 2014-17.

#6 Robert LoBello • D • 5-10 • 180 • Syracuse, N.Y. • Marcellus
LoBello is a three-time All-Section 3 and All-League First Team selection who also earned All-Section 3 and All-League Honorable Mention recognition as a freshman. The Syracuse, New York native led Marcellus to 36 wins over his four-year career with 25 career points (10g, 15a) and was named the team's MVP as a senior captain. LoBello was tabbed a 2018 Player to Watch by LaxRecords, was a 2016 Maverik Showtime All-Star and additional All-Star selection at numerous lacrosse camps, and was considered a top LSM prospect out of upstate New York. The incoming defenseman also lettered in football at Marcellus, earning All-Central New York Second Team honors as a senior.

"The coaches made it feel like it’s a tight-knit family. Other colleges didn’t emphasize it like Coach Wray did. That’s what attracted me and made me excited to be a part of this team."

#53 Dillon Lojeski • GK • 6-0 • 195 • Ambler, Pa. • Upper Dublin
A three-time All-League high school selection, Lojeski led Upper Dublin to a four-year record of 68-17, including 20-plus win seasons in 2016 and 2018. The incoming goalkeeper backstopped the squad to a pair of league championship titles with 20-3 record as a senior and 22-3 record as a sophomore and also claimed District One title in 2016. A two-sport athlete, Lojeski also lettered in football at Upper Dublin.
