GREENSBORO, N.C. – Saint Joseph’s righthander Tim Brennan was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-East Region Second Team, the organization announced earlier this month.

A native of Philadelphia, Brennan wrapped up the season with a 9-3 record and a 2.94 earned run average en route to Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team and All-ECAC First Team honors.  In 88.2 innings, Brennan struck out 84 while walking just five to lead the nation in both strikeout-to-walk ratio and fewest walks per nine innings.

The junior ranks second in program history in both victories, with 20, and strikeouts, with 216, while ranking fifth all-time with a 2.79 ERA and eighth with 251.1 innings pitched.

Brennan was selected in the seventh round of the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on June 5; he was chosen by the Texas Rangers with the 209th overall selection.
