ORLANDO, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's golf team carded a 305 and freshman Wills Montgomery is tied for sixth after shooting 74 in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Championship at the Villas of Grand Cypress Golf Resort. 

Junior Ross Pilliod  is tied for 11th after shooting 75 on Friday, while sophomore Reed Winkler shot 77 and is tied for 21st. Sophomore Michael O'Brien is tied for 30th after posting a score of 79, while junior Chuck Briggs is in 53rd place with a score of 92.

Dayton and Davidson are tied for the team lead at 300, while the Flyers' Tripp French is in first place at 71.

The Hawks begin second round play at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
