An avid supporter of Saint Joseph's athletics, Chris DiJulia will be inducted into the Saint Joseph's University Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in conjunction with the team's 42nd Annual Awards Banquet on Wednesday, April 4, at Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.

A fixture on the Saint Joseph's sidelines over the past three decades, DiJulia has been on the Hawks' bench for many of the program's biggest moments. Invited by then head coach Jim Foster to sit on the Saint Joseph's bench, DiJulia has gone on to be a part of three Atlantic 10 championships, more than a dozen Big 5 titles and over 20 postseason appearances. Born with cerebral palsy, DiJulia was recognized for his infectious spirit in 2001-02 with the creation of the Chris DiJulia Inspirational Award by the women's basketball program.

A long with his support for Saint Joseph's, DiJulia has also been an active member in the local Catholic Youth Organization and received the group's Tom Gola Award in 2010.

Tickets for the Women’s Basketball Banquet are $40 and can be purchased online by visiting alumni.sju.edu/wbb.  Drexelbrook is located at 4700 Drexelbrook Drive in Drexel Hill, Pa.  For more information, contact Christina Henderson at 610-660-3280 or chenders@sju.edu.
