The Saint Joseph's softball team is back in action this weekend as the Hawks head to the Under Armour Showcase. Hosted by the University of South Florida, this weekend's five-game tournament begins on Friday as SJU opens with games against Central Michigan and Central Florida.

Coming off a 4-1 weekend at the Chanticleer Showdown, Saint Joseph's takes on Central Michigan at 4:15 p.m. and follows with a 6:30 p.m. matchup with the Knights at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Hawks will serve as the host team versus Quinnipiac at 2 p.m. and will be the away squad at 6:15 p.m. against Army, before wrapping up play at 9 a.m. on Sunday against Robert Morris.

Individually, junior Taryn Grober currently ranks third in the Atlantic 10 in batting average (.419), while sophomore Caela Abadie is tied for third in home runs (three) and tied for ninth in runs batted in (eight). Junior Stacey Mayer is tied for fifth in runs scored in the A-10 with nine, with sophomore Molly Kapala tied for seventh with eight.

In the circle, senior Madison Clarke, junior Ashley Ventura and sophomore Ashley Stokes are each tied for seventh in wins with two apiece, with Clarke ranking fourth in the conference in ERA (2.33).
