• Freshman Taylor Funk replaced Anthony Longpré in the starting lineup vs. VCU, making his second start of the year
• Funk responded with 19 points, with six in overtime, including a three-pointer with 1:40 left in the extra period
• The freshman also matched his season-high playing 33 minutes
• He has made three starts on the year and is averaging 12.3 ppg as a starter

TAKING CARE OF THE BALL
• After leading the nation last week, Saint Joseph’s now ranks third in fewest total turnovers with 137; the Hawks are seventh in turnovers per game (9.9)
• SJU has recorded single digits in turnovers in six of 14 games, with a low of three in the win over Maine, and the most recent single-digit effort being nine against VCU
