• Seniors Shavar Newkirk and James Demery top the Hawks in scoring with Newkirk (16.9) edging Demery (16.8) for the lead. The duo ranks eighth and ninth in scoring, respectively, in the Atlantic 10
• SJU ranks second in the nation in fewest turnovers per game (8.7) and second in fewest turnovers (87)
• Freshman Taylor Funk ranks 29th in the nation for three-point percentage (47.7) . He ranks second in the Alantic 10 in three-pointers made (31)
• This marks SJU’s first game outside of Philadelphia since Nov. 26

INJURY REPORT
• Charlie Brown, Jr. has not played yet after suffering a fracture in his left wrist, on which he had surgery on Oct. 24; His return to the lineup is undetermined
• Lamarr Kimble will miss the remainder of the season after re-injuring the fifth metatarsal of his left foot at Toledo. It was the same injury that occured on Feb. 11, 2017 which required surgery and caused him to miss the final seven games of the season

St. John's leads the all-time series, 44-13
• These teams have a long tradition of playing each other as they’ve met 57 times, but only once since 1980
• Saint Joseph’s hosted St. John’s in the 2013 NIT First Round, but it was the first meeting since Jan. 14, 1980 when St. John’s scored a 72-55 win at Carneseca Arena
• Beginning with the 1949-50 season, the teams played in 30 of 31 seasons, and at times played twice in a year
• Despite that long history, Saint Joseph’s and St. John’s only faced each other once in postseason play, in the 2013 NIT

• Saint Joseph’s ranks second in the nation in fewest turnovers per game with 8.7 and second in total turnovers with 87 on the year
