POWELLS POINT, N.C. - The Saint Joseph's golf team posted a final-round score of 301 at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Tuesday.

Playing at the par-71 Kilmarlic Golf Club (6,502 yards), the Hawk finished tied for 14th in the 18-team field with a score of 288-292-301/881.

Individually, sophomore Michael O'Brien tied for 46th with a three-round score of 69-73-78/220, while classmate Reed Winkler finished in 56th place a stroke behind at 73-73-75/221.

Freshman Wills Montgomery tied for 57th with a score of 74-76-72/22, with junior Ross pilliod a stroke behind him at 72-70-81/223 to tie for 62nd. Junior Chuck Briggs rounded out the five-man squad with scores of 78-82-76/236 to finish tied for 90th.

Campbell won the team title with a score of 821, while the Camels' Ray Kraivixien captured medalist honors at 204.

Saint Joseph's is back in action at the City 6 Championship on November 4.
