The Hawks also placed fifth in the Freshman 8 and seventh in the Varsity 8. The Varsity 4 placed 10th and the Second Varsity 8 was 15th.

RESULTS

"We have really made a commitment to small boats this Fall to work on our boat moving skills,” said coach Gerry Quinlan. “We are proud of the effort in every boat and our times are competitive across the board from the freshmen’s first collegiate race to our Varsity Eights.  We are excited to see how much speed we can add in the next two weeks.”

Saint Joseph’s also dedicated a boat (Four) to Margaret Meigs, a former Commodore of the Schuylkill Navy.

SJU returns to action on October 28 at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
