BLACKSBURG, Va. - Saint Joseph's Amanda Nava and Maureen Devlin continued play during the second day of the Women's ITA Atlantic Regional on Friday at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.

Coming off an opening round victory in the doubles bracket, Nava and Devline faced the 11th seeded team of Arnelle Sullivan and Millie Stretton from Maryland. While the Hawks put up a strong fight, the Terps' team prevailed in the end, 8-5.

In the singles main draw, Nava faced Nicole Shakhnazarova of Towson later on Saturday. Shakhnazarova proved to be a strong force on the day as she bested the SJU rookie, 6-2, 6-1.

The regional tournament continues on Sunday and runs through Tuesday.
