Kevin started his rowing career as a Hawk and has been doing an outstanding job working with young athletes at Archbishop Carroll High School the last two years,” said head coach Mike Irwin upon Leslie's hiring in 2016-17. “The ability to hire a coach who has an intimate knowledge of the culture of the rowing program is a big asset for our athletic department. Kevin was a team leader as a senior and worked his way from novice to varsity athlete over four years. His work ethic and dedication towards achieving success as a student-athlete were a positive example for everyone in the boathouse.”
