NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the second year in a row, Saint Joseph's distance standout David Dorsey has been voted onto the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Academic All-Conference Team, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon. To be nominated, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for their entire academic career. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league's Sports Information Directors.

Dorsey finished 12th in the 5000m at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championships two weekends ago. He also turned in a sixth-place finish in the 3000m at the Penn 8-Team Select at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex and a seventh-place performance in the 5000m at the Penn State National Invitational earlier in the season.

The junior out of Emmitsburg, Md. was tabbed to the 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-District 2 First Team for his accomplishments during his sophomore cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track seasons. He majors in English at Saint Joseph's University.

Freshman miler Zach Michon qualified for the inaugural A-10 Indoor Track and Field All-Rookie Team. The team is comprised of the top rookie performer in each event from meets conducted from the start of the regular season through the Atlantic 10 Championships.

Michon raced the mile three times this season. The rookie raced to a time of 4:15.41 at the A-10 Indoor Track and Field Championships two weekends ago; the converted time of 4:12.20 ranks ninth in the entire conference. Michon also clocked in at 4:14.46 at the Penn State National Invitational back in January.

A native of Robbinsville, N.J., Michon will race the mile at the IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships this Saturday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m. up in Boston, Mass.
