STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Sophomore Nathaniela Bourdeau and the Hawks' 4x800m relay met ECAC qualification as select members of the Saint Joseph's women's track and field squad competed at the Fastrack Last Chance Invitational, held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Saturday evening. The meet served as a final chance to qualify for the upcoming 2017 ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Bourdeau cruised to a season-best 200m time of 25.03, which made the ECAC qualifying standard by .01 seconds. The performance was also good for third in the field of 22. 

Saint Joseph’s 4x800m relay of junior Cassidy Weimer (2:19.42), senior Kiersten Moylan (2:18.67), freshman Emily Bracken (2:17.50), and senior Sarah Regnault (2:14.41) won the event with a season-best and ECAC-qualifying time of 9:10.38.

Junior Steph Toland led a trio of Hawks in the 500m, clocking in collegiate-best time of 1:18.02 for third overall, while sophomore Kelly Liebl ran a season-best 400m time of 57.25 for fourth in a field of 21.

Senior Julia Jenkins brought her collegiate-best mile time down to 5:11.84 for 11th overall, and freshman Michaela Urbach led a trio of Hawks in the 800m in 2:21.78.

Qualifiers return to action at the 2017 ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships next Friday, March 3 through Sunday, March 5 at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center in Boston, Mass.
