STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Select members of the Saint Joseph's men's track and field squad competed at the Fastrack Last Chance Invitational, held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Saturday evening. The meet served as a final chance to qualify for the upcoming 2017 IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Senior Brandon Ossont (1:06.30) and freshman Will Davies (1:06.40) placed fourth and fifth in the 500m, while freshman Josh Clark led four Hawks in the mile, clocking in at 4:20.16 for 11th in the field of 41. 

Freshman Colin Parker turned in a season-best time in the 800m, crossing in 1:58.41 for 15th in a field of 35, and classmate David Bryant set new season-best times in the 60m (7.20) and 200m (23.15). 

Fellow rookie Aaron Lemma ran a season-best 400m time of 51.11. 

Qualifiers return to action at the 2017 IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships next Friday, March 3 through Sunday, March 5 at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center in Boston, Mass.
