LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Saint Joseph's freshman outfielder Amanda Kulp has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Northeast Region Third Team, organization officials announced on Thursday.

Making an immediate impact for the Hawks, Kulp posted a team-best .364 batting average and was named to both the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team and A-10 All-Rookie Team earlier this month. Starting 47 games in the outfield, she also led SJU in stolen bases with 20, tying for the second most in a single-season in program history. A staple at the top of the Hawks' lineup, Kulp additionally finished ranked second on the team in runs (29) and on-base percentage (.414) and third in hits (47).

At the A-10 Championship last week, Kulp helped the Hawks to the conference title game, batting.400 with four runs scored and a pair of stolen bases en route to earning A-10 All-Championship Team honors.

Kulp is the 28h Hawk to garner All-Region honors and 13th under head coach Terri Adams.
