Women's Rowing Moves Two Boats into Dad Vail Semifinals

The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team advanced two boats into the semifinals of the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta after the first day of the event on the Schuylkill River.

The Hawks' Varsity 8 won its heat and will compete in the semifinals at 10 a.m.

The Freshman 8 placed second in its heat to advance to the 7:57 a.m. semifinals.

The Second Varsity 8 finished third in its heat just missing qualifying for the semifinal.

Saturday's finals will be televised live in Philadelphia on 6ABC and can be seen elsewhere on ESPN3.com.
