PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph’s 4x8 of sophomore Lauren Hehir, senior Lizzy Barrett, sophomore Sara Radzwilka, and senior Jaclyn Kogut took second in its heat en route to a 10th-place finish as the Saint Joseph’s women’s track and field team capped its three-day schedule at the 2014 Penn Relays on Saturday afternoon.

The Hawks challenged heat-winner Wagner for the entirety of the race and clocked in with a final time of 9:08.91.

“This is my tenth year at the Penn Relays, so it’s really sentimental to me for it to be the last race,” said Kogut following the race. “But I’m glad that I was able to be part of the success of this 4x8. It makes it really worth it.”

Saint Joseph’s returns to action next weekend at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Amherst, Massachusetts from Saturday, May 3 through Sunday, May 4.
