Returning for his eighth season on the Saint Joseph's staff in 2012 is Greg Manco. A 1992 graduate of Rutgers University, Manco spent the previous six seasons as an assistant coach at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He will work with the Hawk outfielders in addition to assisting with recruiting efforts.

While at USP, Manco worked closely with the pitching staff and also managed many of the program's day-to-day administrative duties, including recruiting, scheduling and fundraising. He was also instrumental in the creation of the Bill Giles Division II Invitational Tournament hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies.

Manco pitched for the varsity baseball squad at Rutgers in 1991 after playing two seasons on the JV team.

In addition to his undergraduate work at RU, he also has a master's degree and a doctorate from the university in statistics. A full-time professor in the Saint Joseph's University department of Mathematics and Computer Science, he resides in Marlton, N.J.
