JOE TREMOGLIE - Interim Head Coach

Taking on expanded duties in his fourth season on the Hawk coaching staff is Joe Tremoglie. A former standout on the diamond for SJU, he donned the Crimson and Gray from 1993-96. At Saint Joseph's, the 1996 SJU grad was steady at first base and provided a solid left-handed stick. His junior season was his best at SJU. He played in 48 games that year, making 19 starts. He also hit a career best .280 that season. Prior to making his way to Hawk Hill, he was a three-time all-Catholic League performer at Philadelphia's Roman Catholic High School. He earned first team honors as both a sophomore and junior and third team all-City accolades as a senior, when he helped the team to the League crown. He was also chosen to the Carpenter Cup All-Star team. After graduating from SJU in 1996, Tremoglie spent four years working in professional baseball, working as a sales representative for the Philadelphia Phillies. The 29-year old, who currently teaches at Roman Catholic, is single and resides in Prospect Park, Pa.
