CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Saint Joseph's track squads participated in the Onesty Invitational at the University of Virginia on Saturday. The afternoon was highlighted by graduate student Mike DiDio's victory in the men's 800m. DiDio's time of 1:51.50 also qualified him for the IC4A Championships in Princeton, NJ. In addition to the 800m, DiDio had previously qualified for the IC4A and NCAA Regional meets in the 1,500m.

DiDio paced a field of 58 entrants in the 800m, and was one of six Hawks in the race. Sophomore Brendan Kearney was seventh, running a 1:54.43. Freshman Brian Doherty finished in 1:56.14 to take 11th. Seniors Chris Kessler (1:58.40, 20th) and Brian O'Neill (2:01.74, 40th) and sophomore Stephen Young (1:58.80, 23rd) rounded out the Hawk contingent.

For the women, senior Erin Kelly was seventh in the women's 800m with a time of 2:17.42. That time places her fourth in the conference this season.
