The Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse season opener against Delaware, previously scheduled for Saturday, has been moved to Friday, February 5 at 2 p.m., due to the winter storm that is expected to hit Philadelphia. The Hawks will face off against the Blue Hens on Finnesey Field.

The Hawks return three starters, senior Sean Evans, junior Scott Cullinan, and senior Charlie Gorman at attack. Their combined 62 goals accounted for 75% of the scoring in 2009 and will look to lead the squad to its second MAAC Title in their final season in the conference.

The defense and midfield is shored up with Daniel Lieb, Pat Kenville, Trevor Dougherty, Pat Harner and Griffin Ferrigan in goal.

Fans can follow the action via Gametracker on and streaming video will be available through Hawk All-Access.
