SJU Golfers In Ninth Place After Opening Round Of Navy Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Saint Joseph's senior golfer Josh Webb is tied for fourth and is just two shots behind the leader after Saturday's opening round of the Navy Spring Invitational. Webb, who helped the Hawks to a ninth-place standing after the first round, shot a four-over-par 75.

As a team, Saint Joseph's shot 318 and trails first-place TCU by 16 shots (302).

Junior Jimmy Bea carded an 80 in less than ideal conditions, while Andrew Jaskel finished a shot behind at 81. Senior Jim Ridgway carded an 82, while freshman Kyle Jeziorski rounded out the five-man squad at 86.

Sunday's final round begins at 8 a.m.
