PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's basketball team returns home Tuesday as the Hawks host NJIT at 7 p.m. at Hagan Arena.

Tuesday’s matchup with the Highlanders will be streamed on the Atlantic 10 Network for a fee.

• Saint Joseph’s and NJIT are meeting for just the second time come Tuesday. The Hawks won the first contest, 68-59, in the semifinals of the 2007 Hawk Classic.
• The Hawks are coming off buzzer-beating 73-71 overtime loss at Central Michigan on Friday.
• Saint Joseph’s hit a season-high eight three-pointers on Friday, including a career-best five from sophomore Alyssa Monaghan.
• Monaghan finished with a career-high 20 points versus the Chippewas, surpassing her previous mark of 16 versus Hofstra in 2015-16.
• Junior Adashia Franklyn matched her career-high with 18 points at Central Michigan. The starting forward scored 18 points against Bucknell earlier this season.
• As a team, Saint Joseph’s is currently averaging 15.1 on 23.25 field goals made assists per game.
• The Hawks currently ranks eighth nationally in turnovers per game (12.0) and 12th in fewest turnovers (96).
• Saint Joseph’s has connected on 33-of-97 three-pointers so far this year and lead the Atlantic 10 in efficiency at 34.0 percent.
• Through eighth games, junior guard/forward Chelsea Woods has been the Hawks’ most consistent player on the offensive end as she has scored in double figures in every contest. Entering Tuesday with a team-best 14.0 points pre game average, Woods is the first Hawk since Michelle Baker in 2010-11 to score in double figures in each of the team’s first eight games.
