LUTZ, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's golf team carded a score of 311 in the opening round of the 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship on Friday at the TPC Tampa Bay. Individually, sophomore T.J. McNulty carded a two-over-par 73 to lead the five-man squad at the par 71, 6,898 yard course.

Posting a three-over-par 74, sophomore T.J. Summers is just one stroke behind McNulty, while senior Tyler Kingsley and junior Tim Godshalk each shot 82. Sophomore Brian Turley rounded out the team with a score of 87.

As a team, the Hawks are currently in sixth place in the 10 team field.

The second round of the conference championship begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
