OLEAN, N.Y. - Saint Joseph's junior Kelly Mulquin rallied back from three match points to earn a critical singles win to help the Hawks' women's tennis team top St. Bonaventure, 4-3, Saturday afternoon.

With the match even at 3-3, the game rested on the result of the fourth singles match between Mulquin and the Bonnies' Mariam Skhirtladze. Skhirtladze took the first set, 4-6, and was on the verge of closing out the match with three set points in the second set. Falling behind 3-5, Mulquin reversed the momentum and rallied to win four-straight games to take the second set, then dominated the third set for the win, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2.

The Hawks (7-4) jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the match, taking the first and third doubles matches. Aurora Davis and Devi Jadeja teamed for an 8-1 win at the top flight, while Arianne Polatnick and Anne Marie Devlin posted an 8-0 win at the third flight.

In singles, Polatnick was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at the sixth flight, while Claire Minnoe picked up SJU's second singles win with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the fifth flight.

The Bonnies scored wins at the top three flights, leading to the exciting finish between Mulquin and Martinez-Santori.
