PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior Logan Mohn and senior Aaron Leskow continued their dominance on the cross country scene as the duo led the Saint Joseph's men's cross country squad to a fourth-place finish at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Hosted by Princeton University on the course of West Windsor Field, the 8k race saw 272 runners from 30 schools compete.

Mohn led all Hawks for the first time this season as he checked in with an seventh-place finish in a new 8k PR of 23:55. The junior standout, who ran a 24:34 at the 2012 Princeton Invitational, took 39 seconds off of that time and 33 seconds off of his previous 8k PR, set two weekends ago at the Paul Short Invitational. Joined by runners from fellow Atlantic 10 schools in Duquesne, Fordham, and La Salle, Mohn finished behind the champion from Lehigh and four runners from Villanova to claim the top league performance of the meet.

Leskow followed up two steps behind Mohn to take eighth place in a new 8k PR of 23:55, demolishing his previous PR in the event (24:21), set at last season's Princeton Invitational, by 26 seconds. Both Leskow and Mohn were paced by a 4:49 mile.

Redshirt senior Pat Donnelly edged out Princeton's Brett Kelly for the 39th slot overall in an 8k PR of 24:42, improving upon his previous PR in the event set just two weekends ago at Paul Short by 47 seconds.

Following closely behind, senior captain Michael Rankin edged out Harvard's Adam Cotton and Buffalo's Cameron Bruce for a 41st-place finish. Rankin matched his 8k PR of 24:24, the exact time he posted at last season's Princeton Invitational.

Senior Tom O'Kane rounded out SJU's top five with an 82nd-place finish in 25:09. After averaging a 5:32 mile at Paul Short two weekends ago, O'Kane showed tremendous improvement this weekend, averaging a 5:04 to post his fastest 8k time of the 2013 season.

In the open race, the Hawks took sixth out of 12 teams. Senior captain Sean Staltari took 15th in a personal-record 25:51 to lead SJU's open runners.

Saint Joseph's will take next weekend off from competition to prepare for the Atlantic 10 Championships, scheduled for Saturday, November 2 in Mechanicsville, Va. Start time is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
