SAN ANTONIO (4/5/04) - Phil Martelli and Jameer Nelson concluded their trip to the Final Four with awards from two more organizations.

The duo received the top coach and player honors from the United States Basketball Writers Association as Martelli received the Henry Iba Award and Nelson picked up the Oscar Robertson Trophy.

Nelson also earned the inaugural Bob Cousy Point Guard Award as given by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

Martelli and Nelson have made it a clean sweep of all of the nation's coach and player of the year honors. They won all of the awards outright except for those from the National Basketball Coaches Association, but shared those with Stanford's Mike Montgomery and UConn's Emeka Okafor.

Nelson and Martelli will accept the previously announced Naismith Awards on Friday, April 9 in Atlanta. The final award is the John R. Wooden Award which will announced in Los Angeles on Saturday.
