ESTERO, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's golf team placed second, and senior Michael O'Brien finished in a three-way tie for first place individually at the Homewood/Hilton Garden Airport and FGCU Classic.

How It Happened
• As a team, the Hawks posted a score of 290-289-291/870 (+6) to place second in the eight-team field.
• Individually, Michael O'Brien finished tied atop the leaderboard with a three-round score of 71-72-69/212 (-4).
• Going to a playoff, UT-Rio Grande Valley's Alex Summers prevailed to earn medalist honors.
• J.T. Spina finished fifth overall with a three-round score of 74-71-69/214 (-2).
• Richard Riva shot 70-72-77/219 (+3) and tied for seventh place.
• Tommy Lewis tied for 18th with a score of 75-74-76/225 (+9).
• Wills Montgomery finished tied for 27th with a score of 75-76-77/228 (+12).
• UT-Rio Grande Valley won the team title by four strokes with a final score of 866. 
• The Homewood/Hilton Garden Airport and FGCU Classic was played at par-72 Old Corkscrew Golf Club (7,393 yards).
