Postgame Chatter
"We played well, controlled possession for periods in the first half, but withstood their attacks throughout the second half for a tough win," said associate head coach Fred King. "Newcomers Ashley Groeber, Ashley Orendac and Jaydin Avery stepped up to the collegiate level well. Gabby Vagnozzi scored from a miss-cleared cross into the box by Brittany Hartwell-Miller. Cameron Perrott made a couple of strong saves early in the match before we settled into an offensive rhythm in possession."
