Beginning her first year as Director of Special Projects and Special Assistant to the Athletics Director is Christina Foggie.
Promoted to her current position in the summer of 2019, Foggie returned to Hawk Hill in 2018 as director of women’s basketball operations after spending a year working for Worldwide Express. Foggie, who originally came to SJU after a stellar playing career at Vanderbilt, joined Saint Joseph’s women’s basketball program as video coordinator in 2015 and earned her master’s degree in organizational development and leadership.
A prolific scorer who finished her career seventh all-time in points at Vanderbilt (1,743), Foggie came to Saint Joseph's in 2015-16 after spending the previous year coaching for the Philadelphia Belles AAU team and working in the private sector. As a senior, she was named a WBCA All-American Honorable Mention after leading the SEC in scoring (19.0 ppg) and helped the Commodores to the NCAA Tournament for the 15th straight season. Holding Vanderbilt's all-time record for three-pointers (276), Foggie was drafted 24th overall by the Minnesota Lynx in the 2014 WNBA Draft.
A native of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Foggie headed to the Commodores after a stellar high school career at Lenape Regional in which she was twice named to the New Jersey All-State team.
