• SJU has been off since Nov. 20 when it dropped a 97-90 decision to #13 West Virginia in the third-place game of the Myrtle Beach Invitational. Lamarr Kimble scored a career-high 31 points in the loss
• Charlie Brown, Jr., was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week and the Big 5 Co-Player of the Week for Nov. 19 after averaging 22.3 points in the Hawks' 2-2 week (more on pg. 3)
• Charlie Brown, Jr., is the leading scorer in the A-10 with 22.6 points per game and also tops the conference in three-point field goals made per game (3.4)
• Sophomore Taylor Funk has made 100 three-point field goals in just 37 career games, which is the fastest to 100 in SJU history
• The Hawks will return home for the first time since Nov. 12 when they host Illinois Chicago on Wednesday, Nov. 28
YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN
• Charlie Brown, Jr., was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for Nov. 19, marking the first time he has earned the league's weekly honor as an upperclassman; he was also chosen as the Big 5 Co-Player of the Week
• He averaged 23.3 points in four games, shooting 58.5 percent from the field and 54.2 percent from three-point range (18-for-22)
• Brown also made 81.8 percent of his free-throw attempts and added three blocks, three steals and four assists
• He established a new career-high with 26 points in a win over Wake Forest, and then bettered it with 28 points in a loss to eventual tournament champion UCF
THREES ALL AROUND
• The Hawks have three of the top three-point shooters in the Atlantic 10 as Charlie Brown, Jr., ranks second in three-point percentage (56.7), Taylor Funk is third (55.2) and Jared Bynum is tied for fourth (50.0)
• Brown ranks 11th in the nation in total three-pointers made with 17; Funk is 13th with 16
TAYLOR'S THREE'S
• Sophomore Taylor Funk now has 100 three-pointers in the 37 games of his career thus far, which is the quickest to 100 of any Hawk. By comparison, all-time leader Langston Galloway made 75 threes in his first 37 games
• Funk set the SJU freshman record last season when he made 84 in 32 games
• He hit a career-best 6-for-7 from beyond the arc in the win over Wake Forest
• On the season, he's making 55.2 percent of his long-range attempts
20/20/20
• Charlie Brown, Jr. eclipsed his career-high for the second time this season when he poured in 28 points against UCF
• He scored 26 vs. Wake Forest to better his career-high of 22 set vs. Fordham during the 2016-17 season
• Brown has tallied 20-plus points in four of five games this season
OFF BALANCE
• Against UCF, the Hawks didn't get much scoring from players not named Charlie Brown and Taylor Funk as the duo combined for 44 of 57 points
• In fact, only three other players were in the scoring column - Jared Bynum (6 pts), Anthony Longpré (6) and Pierfrancesco Oliva (1)
SHARP SHOOTERS
• The Hawks have shot 50 percent or better in five of 10 halves played this year, with a high of 58.6 percent in the second half of the win over Monmouth
