LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – Sophomore David Bryant, freshman Sebastian Eaton, senior David Henderson, and senior Kenny Evely won the 4x100m relay in an IC4A-qualifying performance to lead the Saint Joseph's men's track and field squad to a third-place team showing in a field of 10 squads at the 2018 Rider Invitational, held at Rider University's newly named Michael P. Brady Track and Field Facility on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks accumulated 62 points on the day.

Bryant, Eaton, Henderson, and Evely registered a time of 41.92, just .38 seconds off from the school record in the event.

The Hawks earned a second-place finish in the 4x800m relay as sophomore Harrison Morris, freshman Dan Mink, freshman Drayk Cassamajor, and sophomore Joey Angelina crossed in 8:13.09.

Senior Andrew Myers dropped a collegiate-best 1500m performance (4:05.43) for second while freshman Brendan Price ran a season-best 1500m time of 4:06.96 for third.

Junior Markell Lodge added a third-place finish out of the high jump (1.89m).

Saint Joseph's returns to action at both the Princeton University Larry Ellis Invitational (Weaver Stadium, Princeton, N.J.) and the Widener Invitational (Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium, Chester, Pa) next Friday, April 20 through Saturday, April 21. Princeton's events are slated to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Widener's are set for a 3:00 p.m. start.
