HAMILTON, N.Y. - Saint Joseph's junior Ross Pilliod is tied for 25th individually and the Hawk golf team is tied for 11th after Saturday's opening 36 holes of the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational.

Playing at the par-72 Seven Oaks Golf Club (6,834 yards), the Hawks posted a score of 306-300/606 (+30).

Pilliod paced SJU's five-man squad on Saturday shooting 78-72/150 and will enter Sunday a shot ahead of sophomore Richard Riva (75-76/151), who is tied for 31st. Sophomore Michael O'Brien is tied for 45th at 73-80/153 with senior Tyler Sokolis (80-75/155) and sophomore Reed Winkler (77-82/159) rounding out the team tied for 53rd and 70th, respectively.

Cornell holds the team lead by two strokes at 591, while the Big Red's Jack Casler leads all individual players at 140.
