Every Monday, the Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse program will highlight one member of its 2014-15 squad. Leading us into our 23rd week will be freshman Kristen Kelbon, an attack out of Mount Laurel, N.J.!
1. Why did you choose Saint Joseph's?
St. Joe's is the perfect fit for me both academically and athletically. I love what they're doing with the lacrosse program and it's close enough to home that my family and friends can attend our games.
2. What is your favorite thing about Hawk Hill?
My favorite thing about Hawk Hill is the Haub School of Business. The school has invested significant resources to make it a state of the art business school.
3. What is your favorite place on Hawk Hill?
Hagan Arena.
4. What is the best course you've taken or are currently taking at Saint Joseph's?
Accounting was my favorite course during my first semester.
5. What is your major at Saint Joseph's? Dream job?
My major is international business. Currently, I am interested in pursuing a career in law.
6. What is your favorite thing to do while not playing lacrosse?
Spending time with my family and friends.
7. What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
Scoring my 100th goal in high school.
8. Who is your favorite professional team and athlete?
The Flyers are my favorite professional team. My favorite athlete is Allen Iverson.
9. Who is your favorite musical artist?
Blake Shelton.
10. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The power to read minds.
11. What is your favorite food? Favorite restaurant?
I love Italian food. Del Frisco's is my favorite restaurant.
12. If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you?
A phone to call for help, food, and water.
13. If you could have dinner with three people, past or present, who would they be?
Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Oprah Winfrey.
14. Who is your hero?
My sister. She is a St. Joe's graduate and currently in medical school.
