Assistant Coach
Experience: 3 Years

Former All-American pitcher Jen Mineau begins her fourth season as an assistant coach at Saint Joseph's.

In her first year with the Hawks, Mineau helped the SJU pitching staff to a 23-18 record with several individual standout performances along the way. Individually, freshman Madison Clarke flourished under Mineau’s guidance en route to earning Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team and College Sports Madness A-10 Rookie of the Year honors. The SJU ace posted a team-best 17-6 record and finished with a team-best 64 strike outs.

The following year, Mineau oversaw a staff that finished second in the Atlantic 10 and 27th nationally in ERA (2.34). Individually, senior Anna Lauterbach set a new single-season mark for saves and finished second nationally with eight, while freshman Ashley Ventura was selected to the A-10 All-Rookie Team. Additionally, Clarke was selected to Canada's National Team for the World Cup of Softball in July.

In 2018, Mineua helped the Hawks rank fourth in the A-10 in ERA (3.21), with rookie Chelsea Evans posting the first-ever no-hitter at the SJU Softball Filed in a 6-0 victory over La Salle.

Mineau joined the SJU staff after spending the previous two years at Seton Hill University. Joining the Griffins as an assistant coach in 2013, she served as the team's interim head coach in 2014.

Under Mineau's guidance, Seton Hill posted the best start to a season, going 12-3 to begin 2014 and finished with a 20-20 overall record while the team set the single season record for batting average (.315). Individually, four Griffins earned All-PSAC West honors, and two were named to the NFCA Division II All-Atlantic Region Team. Other highlights included Carlee Wickstrom setting the single season record for home runs (12) and freshman pitcher Amanda Huff tossing a no-hitter in her first collegiate game.

One of the top pitchers to play in the Atlantic 10, Mineau starred at Fordham from 2009-12. Named a First Team All-American as a sophomore and Third Team selection as a junior, she led the Rams to their first A-10 title (2011) and a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances (2010, 2011). During her four seasons, Mineau rewrote the Fordham record book as she set 16 records including the career marks for wins (101), strikeouts (1,390) and ERA (1.42). A three-time All-Region and A-10 All-Conference First Team honoree, she posted 10 no-hitters, including five perfect games.

A star in the classroom, Mineau was twice named an Academic All-American and A-10 Scholar Athlete of the Year. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fordham in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in visual arts with a minor in sociology.

Selected 15th overall in the 2012 National Pro Fastpitch League College Draft, Mineau played two years with the Akron Racers while coaching at Seton Hill.
