BROOKLYN, N.Y.Langston Galloway scored 31 points, including a three-pointer with 19 seconds remaining, to carry the fourth-seeded Saint Joseph's men's basketball team past fifth-seeded Dayton, 70-67, in the quarterfinals of the 2014 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship at the Barclays Center on Friday.  The Hawks (22-9) now advance to the semifinals, where they will meet ninth-seeded St. Bonaventure, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

DeAndre' Bembry finished with 15 points for the Hawks, while Ronald Roberts, Jr., had 11 and Halil Kanacevic added nine points and 12 rebounds.

With the Hawks trailing by a point, 67-66, Galloway hit his sixth three-pointer of the game to put SJU ahead, 69-67, with 19 seconds to play.  After a Dayton (23-10) timeout, Devin Oliver's three-point attempt missed off the backboard, with the rebound coming down to Bembry with one second left on the clock.  After the ensuing foul, Bembry hit one of two from the line, and the Flyers were not able to get off a shot before the buzzer.

The game was back and forth the entire way, with neither team owning more than a six-point lead.

The Hawks had that 66-60 lead with 4:32 remaining and Jordan Sibert hit a three and Kavanaugh hit a layup to pull the Flyers within one. Matt Kavanaugh then gave UD their last lead of the game, 67-66, to set up Galloway's gamewinner.

Galloway scored 20 of the Hawks' 35 points in the first half, connecting on 6-for-10 from the field and 3-of-6 from three-point range. The senior finished the game making 6-of-11 threes.

Dayton led, 32-27, with 2:58 remaining in the first half, but Galloway was fouled on a three-point attempt and made all three from the line. Devin Oliver scored on a layup for the Flyers but Kanacevic converted a three-point play to pull the Hawks within, 34-33. A layup by Galloway at :54, his 20th points of the half, gave SJU a 35-34 halftime lead.
