The Saint Joseph's Cheerleading Teams offer a physically challenging program with a wide range of opportunity for the student body. The program consists of cheer teams with Co-ed and All-Girl positions available. We provide rigorous training and conditioning for all levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced. Our main purpose is to promote school spirit within the student body and Alumni at Men's and Women's Basketball Games. We travel with the teams to Big 5 games, the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament and the NCAA Tournament. SJU Cheer competes at the National Collegiate Cheerleading Championships each April. In 2016 the team placed second in its division.
The Hawks are also excited to be participating in their fifth season of STUNT, the new competitive team sport derived from cheerleading created by USA Cheer. More information about STUNT can be found at collegestunt.org.
