PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's freshman golfer Jimmy Bea earned his third Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honor after tying for fourth place at last weekend's Georgetown Invitational.
Playing at the Member Club at Four Streams Course (par-71), Bea carded a two-round score of 73-74/147 to pace the Hawk golfers. For the season, the rookie leads Saint Joseph's with a 74.4 strokes-per-round average. He previously won the conference's weekly award on October 6 and September 15.
Saint Joseph's cap its fall season today and Tuesday at the Old Dominion/Seascape Invitational.
