Baseball Opens New Home Field

The Saint Joseph's baseball team opened its new home field with a 5-1 win over Iona on March 9, 2012.

2012: Made 23 starts in the outfield and as a designated hitter...Also came off the bench in four games...Went 3-for-4 in an Opening Day loss to Bryant on February 17...Was 2-for-4 with a run scored and three runs batted in as SJU earned its first win of the season against Canisius on February 18...Drove in two runs against Villanova on March 13...Had a pair of RBI against George Washington on May 4.

2011: Appeared in 35 games and made 25 starts as an outfielder and designated hitter...His 13 runs batted in tied for fifth on the squad and tied for tops among all Hawk rookies...Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored as the Hawks topped Villanova, 11-7, on March 15...Had six multi-hit games and scored multiple runs in four contests.

High School: Second Team All-Shore, Second Team Non-Public B, and First Team All-Monmouth County as a senior...Hit .520 with 34 runs, 28 RBI and two home runs... Named St. Rose Male Athlete of the Year...Named to the All-Shore Third Team as a sophomore and junior as his team won the Non-Public B state championship each year...Also lettered in soccer and basketball.
