Rob Sullivan is in his 11th year as director of basketball operations. He oversees various basketball and athletic adminstrative duties including the men's basketball Nike contract, team travel, Phil Martelli's Basketball Camp, community service projects, and other major events relating to the basketball program.
Sullivan had a three-year playing career at SJU as part of teams which compiled a 73-28 record in those three years, while advancing to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2004 and finishing as 2005 NIT runner-up.
The native of Philadelphia was honored by SJU with the Daniel J. Cummins, Jr. Memorial Award for spirit in 2005 and with the 2006 William Bennett Memorial Award for dedication to the program.
Presently, he utilizes his playing experience and coaching staff credentials to be heavily involved with skill development basketball training for players of all levels in the surrounding Tri-State area.
Sullivan, who graduated from Saint Joseph’s in 2006 with a degree in food marketing, received mention on both the SJU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll while an undergraduate. He and his wife, Blair, reside in downtown Philadelphia.
