PITTSBURGH, Pa. (1/9/04) - The ninth-ranked and unbeaten Saint Joseph's Hawks (12-0; 2-0 A-10) will take on Duquesne (5-7; 0-1 A-10) on Saturday, January 10, at the A.J. Palumbo Center in an Atlantic 10 clash beginning at 7:00 p.m. The game will not be televised, but the action can be heard on the Saint Joseph's Sports Network on WPEN-Radio (950 AM). Click here for game notes, and streaming audio . The 12-0 Hawks are in the midst of their best start ever and the program's highest national ranking since 1965-66. In the RPI rankings of this week, Saint Joseph's is the top-ranked team in the country and in the January 8 rankings, had the top-rated strength of schedule. National Player of the Year candidate Jameer Nelson leads the Hawks with 20.8 points per game while backcourt mate Delonte West is scoring 17.6. Nelson is coming off a season-high 32-point performance at Richmond in the 71-60 victory. Currently in stretch of five of seven games on the road, the Hawks return home on Tuesday, January 13 to host Fordham. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse.
